Abstract
In the article, the statement “The irrigation water sourced from rivers did not contain any N” was imprecise. A more accurate statement is “N in the irrigation water was not measured and was assumed to be negligible compared with the N application rates used in this study”. This sentence better reflects the field trial condition.
